TCB Cats Drive Denim Jacket Selvedge Indigo

The Cat's Drive series returns for the first time in nearly three years. Its design is based on a vintage Cowboy brand denim tuxedo from the late 1940s to early 1950s. While jeans were originally created as durable workwear for a wide range of occupations, this particular design was also intended for horseback riding.

For this revival, the focus has been placed on refining the fabric. The same EMOT cotton blend - sourced from East Memphis, New Orleans, and Texas - has been retained, but both the warp and weft yarns have been adjusted to a uniform 6-count thickness. Longer slubs have also been introduced to create greater surface irregularity, encouraging the development of longer, more pronounced vertical fading lines characteristic of left-hand twill denim.

Although the name remains the same, this is not simply a reproduction, but a refined interpretation of the Cat’s Drive through TCB’s current approach to denim making.
