The Lot.243 Buckle-Back Five Pocket Denim Pants are inspired by the earliest era of American workwear, when denim trousers were first developed as durable garments for laborers. Known at the time as “waist overalls,” these early designs featured a loose waist and high rise for ease of movement, with suspenders and rear adjustment straps used to secure the fit.

Drawing from transitional workwear of the 1930s-40s, this model reinterprets the classic buckle-back five-pocket silhouette. It features a structured mid-straight cut, large workwear-style rear pockets, reinforced crotch rivets, and an adjustable back cinch, reflecting the functional design language of the era.

Crafted from mid-weight selvedge denim designed for refined aging and natural fading, the fabric develops a rich, characterful patina over time. It is sanforized to minimize shrinkage while maintaining authentic raw denim properties.

Finished with iron donut buttons, prong hardware, and a traditional needle-point buckle, all components are selected to age alongside the fabric through wear.
